The Story Behind Scan If Hurt™

A friend went down in the woods.
Nobody knew anything.

On October 13, 2024, a group of friends were riding trails in the woods when one of them lost control and hit a tree. When EMS arrived, nobody could answer the basic questions: medical history, allergies, emergency contacts. His wife's name was known — but not her number.

Their friend passed away that day. And in that moment of helplessness, a simple, brutal question surfaced: why isn't there a way for first responders to instantly access this information?

That question became Scan If Hurt™. Built by Daniel White — rider, inventor, and part of that friend group — who got the texts that day asking if he knew his friend's allergies, medications, his wife's number. He didn't know any of it. Nobody did. That helplessness, from miles away, became the mission.
